5:41 Michele Vieux of CrossFit Invictus has been featured in several recent cooking videos in the CrossFit Journal. Her recipes feature Paleo foods produced in simple and delicious ways, and she came on the show to talk about her easy methods for eating healthy. She gave advice on items that should always be in your pantry and described simple ways to to make Paleo-friendly condiments and sauces. Vieux has also created a cookbook that will be available soon.
33:12 Three months ago, Jason Ackerman started a Survivor-like competition to find his next coach at Albany CrossFit. At the time, he appeared on CrossFit Radio Episode 217 and talked about the competition. On this episode, he explained how the search has progressed. The field has been narrowed to three finalists, and Ackerman described some of the challenges the coaches have had to overcome along the way. Albany CrossFit is also first on the CrossFit for Hope leaderboard. Ackerman described how his affiliate has raised so much money and what it’s done for his community.
