Anderson talked about the competition and explained how the programming was perfect for masters athletes. He shared why he competes and how CrossFit motivated him to change his lifestyle. Anderson is also one of the owners at South Tahoe CrossFit, and he described the community, culture and charitable events at his box.
34:51 Sam Brustein has been a SWAT officer for the past 12 years. He started CrossFitting in 2008 in his basement. He described how he used to stay in shape before and how his fitness level has improved after four years of CrossFit. Brustein talked about what a difference CrossFit has made in his career and speculated as to why more SWAT officers don’t CrossFit. Brustein is also an inventor of sorts and has patents including a five-height plyo box. He talked about how the idea originated and how he put it into production.
