1:10 Considering Will Moorad had to move his wedding back a week to avoid conflicting with the Central East Regional, it was fitting that he qualified for the Games by beating past Games champion Graham Holmberg and past Games competitor Marcus Hendren for third place. Moorad explained what it was like to compete in one of the most competitive regions, and he described how his athletic background as a high-level soccer player helps him in CrossFit. He beat Holmberg by just 1 point and explained how he was able to do so despite deviating from his game plan and altering his pacing at times. Moorad was able to practice Regional workouts ahead of time, and he talked about how he’ll deal with the inevitable surprises of the CrossFit Games.
